Dear Valued Customers and Loyal Friends
It is with great sadness I announce that my Pure Gaisha website has now closed. During the many years I have been open, I have met some wonderful like minded people and will always be very grateful to you all for supporting my business with such enthusiasm. I cant tell you how much I have appreciated the fact that so many of you care enough to purchase Cruelty Free Vegan products. It is a market that is expanding now so there is a lot more choice out there than when I started selling 6 or so years ago. I am sure you will still be able to find many wonderful vegan products on offer!
Unfortunately I just do not have enough time anymore to run the business and work outside of home full time. The 7 days a week I worked for over 6 years eventually takes its toll, especially at my age!! I also try to do as much animal rights/activism work as I can too, so I want that to remain my main focus and to keep doing more of that. I will still continue my Rat Rescue too as my home constantly gets new little ones for me to love and care for.
I will still be contributing to my many animal charities, so they will not go without.
One again may I say a huge "Thank You" to you all over the years. It is appreciated more than words can say.

At PURE GAISHA we are committed to making beautiful, high quality Vegan skincare and cosmetics. Our products are handmade with love and care ,for you, for the animals and for the environment. You don't have to be Vegan to enjoy our wonderful products, but after using them we hope you will realise that no one needs to use cruelly derived or animal tested products. Pampering, occasionally, is a must to keep your spirits up, for body and soul. We believe that our products last all day on the skin, and the fragrance will linger. We also do fragrance free, in our body lotions, whips, butters and body washes, for those who prefer it that way.
Our mineral makeup is the most amazing product. Its light, and pure and feels exceptional on the skin. We feel confident once you use PURE GAISHA mineral makeup you will love it forever.

Our Ethics
Our ethical stance is that we only test the products on ourselves and our family and friends (we have many willing volunteers). None of our products have ever been tested on animals and they never will be. All of our raw material supplies are not tested on animals at any stage. We are accredited by "Choose Cruelty Free", "BUAV" and "The Vegan Society" as all of our range being suitable for Vegans.
We use minimal packaging for our products, without extra boxes or uneccessary outer wrappings. All of our bottles and jars are recyclable PET containers.
We donate part of our profits to many animal welfare related organisations such as www.peta.org, www.wspa.org.au, www.ifaw.org.au, www.savejapandolphins.org and www.seashepherd.org.
